My name is Michael Lessner. I came here to Austin in 1984 to attend the University of Texas. I graduated with a BS in Zoology and attended the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School in San Antonio (Rated #1 in the nation by U.S. News and World Report).

Upon graduation I returned to Austin, like so many people do, to begin practicing general dentistry. About 13 years ago, I was fortunate to find a beautiful dental practice situated in Hyde Park, just north of campus. This charming old house has been a dental office since the mid-forties. It is a wonderful environment to work in--very homey and relaxed.

Over the past 13 years, we have built a wonderful family practice that focuses on delivering the best in state-of-the-art dentistry in a relaxed, comfortable, small-town atmosphere.

I enjoy providing all facets of dentistry to my patients, with a particular emphasis on aesthetic dentistry. Allowing our patients to be fully informed and knowledgeable about the treatment they need is of utmost importance to our office. We utilize state of the art instruments and equipment. Like intraoral dental camera and laser whitening.

I have been married for 10 years and have a beautiful wife (Linda) and 4 very active children ages 1.5, 6, 8, and 9. When I'm not in the office, you'll almost certainly find me rock climbing on the beautiful limestone cliffs along the Pedernales River. Or playing with my kids at any of the local parks or swimming at Barton Springs Pool.
