Front Office Team

Jo Ellen takes care of the office! She is the person that can help you with insurance questions, questions regarding your bill, or anything else you may need. Jo Ellen is from New Orleans, and calls herself the “resident perfectionist”, so you can be sure you will be in good (and organized!) hands. Jo Ellen began her career in dental in 1991 and joined with Dr. Lessner 5 years later. Away from the office, JoEllen enjoys exploring the small towns of Texas and taking cruises with her husband. She likes gardening, decorating her home and spending time with family and friends.

Connie began working for Dr. Lessner in 2006 and has been working in the dental field since 2000. Patients appreciate Connie's attention to detail as she helps them maximize their insurance benefits. She is a judicious advocate and a skilled treatment coordinator, helping patients navigate through the ever-changing field of dental insurance. Connie loves to travel and go to the movies. She has 3 children that she enjoys spending time with along with her 2 dogs.

Cari recently joined Drs. Lessner & Hopkins in 2008. She is one of the first friendly faces you will see as you enter the office. Cari is extremely helpful with insurance and is committed to serving all your scheduling needs. Her gentle nature and positive disposition will certainly make you at ease.

Registered Dental Hygienists

Nancy has been in the dental field for 23 years and has worked for Dr. Lessner for since 1997. She thrives on new technology and provides our patients with superior preventive care and is an expert in periodontal therapy. Nancy is dedicated to her patients' overall health, not just their dental health. She maintains continuing education classes yearly to expand her dental hygiene knowledge. She is a graduate of Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas for her Associate in Applied Science degree and recently finished her bachelor's degree at University of Phoenix. Nancy is currently working on her PHD in Healthcare policy. She has 2 children and has been a volunteer for Safe place for the past 13 years.

Dot has been in the dental field for over 25 years, 1st working as an RDA for 14 years before returning to school and obtaining her RDH in '94. Dot is an active member of the American Dental Hygiene Assoc. and served as its trustee for several years. She is active in volunteering in Community Ed Service in the public school system in Austin. Dot and her husband have 2 children. Dot enjoys Yoga and traveling.

Registered Dental Assistants

Alma joined Dr. Lessner's team in 2008. She has enjoyed working with patients since she became a dental assistant. Patients appreciate Alma's calm, comforting approach to dental care. Outside the office, Alma likes to spend time with her family and enjoys going to the movies.

Dora began her career in the dental field in 2003 and has been with Dr. Lessner since 2008. Dora quietly contributes to patient care with tender kindness. She also steps in and works the front desk when needed. Originally from the Rio Grande Valley (Go Tarpons!), Dora and her husband love to go out on the town and appreciate all the sights and eats that Austin has to offer.

Teshara has been a dental assistance since 2006 and started working with Dr. Lessner that year as well. She will go beyond what is expected to make everyone comfortable in the dental chair.

Tiffany has been a dental assistant since 2006 and started working with Dr. Lessner the very same year. She uses her professionalism and love of people to provide outstanding service; always with a bit of wit. Outside the office, Tiffany enjoys going to the movies and dancing. She and her daughters love to go shopping together.
